Basswood painted plantation shutters are a Blindmaster specialty. Following a detailed consultation and measure process, our installation service expertly installed the basswood shutters for our client in Cammeray.

The results show the correct method of installation and attention to detail required to properly fit sliding plantation shutters, pelmets and tracks. This site posed a challenge with the main doorway being on an obtuse angle, requiring detailed cutting and mitre junctures between the pelmets and tracking system.

The sliding panels were made as bypass with blades open to allow easy operation and eliminate the risk of blade damage during operation. The use of timber scribing covers the gap between the panels when closed to maintain privacy, light control and insulation.
