continuous louvres

Product Details

Maxim continuous louvres (MC series) are an architecturally appealing product that is highly functional and effective in reducing heat load on the building facade.

Continuous louvres are configurable into many shapes and are tailor made to suit specific applications. All continuous louvres have rack arm sections that provide the structural integrity of the product and ensure reliable functionality in all weather conditions.

Having supplied and installed Maxim MC continuous louvre systems for nearly two decades, we have a great deal of product knowledge and installation experience and will recommend the correct product configuration for your application.

More Information

The Maxim continuous louvre is a non-retractable louvre designed for external installations to horizontal, sloping, vertical or curved glazing. Solar heat gain is reduced by up to 90% on glazed areas and the fully adjustable blades also control glare and privacy and allow outward vision.

Blade dimensions: The Maxim MC75 has curved 75mm extruded aluminium blades, the Maxim MC85 has flat interlocking 85mm extruded aluminium blades and the Maxim MC74 has flat overlapping 74mm western red cedar
blades. The MC75 and MC85 aluminium blades are available in widths up to 6.5m. The MC74 western red cedar blades are available up to a width of 3.6m.

Fixed position: Blades can be fitted in a fixed position set up of either 30 degrees or 45 degrees.

Adjustable: The louvres are supported by rack arm sections and are adjustable from closed to open through a 99 degree range. They can be operated manually using a gearbox with crank handle or knob winder. Motors can be remote controlled, hardwired or automatically controlled and linked to the building management system (BMS).

The Maxim continuous louvre is designed to comply with AS1170.2 wind loading.
