Traditional Look, Modern Solution – Timber Venetians from ESR

While there is certainly a place for minimalist décor in contemporary design, for me there is nothing more charming than a period home with original features.  The craftsmanship and detail draws the eye and harkens back to a different era.

Our customers in Artarmon have lovingly restored their period home and were looking for a window covering solution that would be unobtrusive but also enhance the look and feel of the property.   Mark Smith suggested timber venetians to control light, heat and ventilation and also provide full privacy when required.  He recommended Eco Cedar timber venetians from ESR Blinds with 46mm slats.  The solid cedar is pre-coated and specially designed to cope with the strong Australian sun.   The rich dark Walnut finish was a perfect match to the surrounding timber frames and feature trim, creating a made-to-order result.
